Automatically Kill Programs At Shutdown
While trying to shut down, you get message boxes telling you that a program is still running? Making it so that Windows automatically kills applications running.
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type regedit in the Open dialog box and click OK.
3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Control Panel->Desktop directory in the Registry, then alter the key AutoEndTasks to the value 1.
Hence reboot for changes to take effect.
The next time around you don't need to end tasks to shut down your computer.
